Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Luke-Abraham Luckfield. I am currently a senior at Kamehameha Schools and I want to play volleyball in college. During my Sophmore year of high school, I joined Hanahou Volleyball Club. I was introduced to harsh training where we seemingly died every practice and I can't help but smile after going through these practices. Through this club, I found a love for volleyball that deepened every time a practice intensified or I was able to touch the ball. From this, I grew into a player who loves the challenging training, and the harder it is the more I will love it. I put my heart into the game and see my teammates as not only other players but as a family and play better when I play for my team. I will give my all to my team. I aspire to play at a college level and hope to be able to compete with as well as against players who will further push my level of play. I have always been steady and shooting for the best when it comes to academics because I know that academics will always come first.
