I began playing volleyball my freshman year of high school after having friends and teachers suggest I try the sport. I fell in love with the sport immediately and began to devote time and effort in to playing competitive club volleyball. I try my very best to be a positive teammate and leader, as I have been a part of teams which struggle in these areas as well as ones that thrive. I enjoy being a part of a team that is supportive of one another and where teammates become friends both on and off the court. When guys bond like this, we play better together. I also enjoy playing with guys who have high energy and a passion for the game, but are also focused on improving and becoming better as team. Aside from athletics, academics have always been a priority for me. I make sure that my school work comes first and put a 100% effort into allowing my grades to be the highest they can be, knowing that I must keep on top of my academic work in order to be successful in volleyball and into the future. I believe that the end result is reflective of that.
My goal is to continue volleyball in college and I am excited about the level of play that lies ahead!
