I want to play volleyball in college because it is not only fun for me, but I have fallen in love with the sport. When I am on the court, I am not thinking about anything but my team and the game. I want to have volleyball be a part of my college experience because I know how happy I am when I’m playing. Being a part of something bigger than myself gives me a sense of purpose and belonging.
I would be an important asset to any program I am a part of because of my competitive drive. I am always working to improve my game and seek out opportunities to compete at the highest level possible. I push my teammates to be the best they can be everyday because I feel that pushing them benefits the team and success of the program. As a student I work hard to achieve my goals by actively engaging in class, and by asking questions to better understand the content. I pride myself on having built a good working relationship with my teachers. On a personal level, I would describe myself as someone who is loyal and committed to those around me. I would do anything to help my friends and or teammates. I always try to be the best person I can be in all aspects of my life.
By the time I graduate college I want to have left a positive impact, and to have contributed to the success of the school. I want to find a school that is the best fit for me and will help me achieve my future goals. I hope to go to college to study engineering, and I hope that I can play the sport that I love while doing it.
