Nick Tangney '23 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was little I was doing something that involved sports whether it was basketball, soccer, or baseball. I started playing volleyball freshman year out of curiosity since my two older sisters played in high school and college. After picking it up quickly I noticed my passion grew rapidly. Playing and learning about the game of volleyball in the past 2 years has taught me that if you put in the work the sky's the limit. I never would have been where I’m at today without the countless reps on the court but also off the court. There’s never been a time when I wasn’t competitive and winning in volleyball is one of the best feelings in the world. I’ve been told by many coaches how coachable I am. I’m very dedicated to this sport, for myself but more importantly my teammates. I’m looking for a school with a team that builds community on and off the court, always having one another's back.
