Volleyball has been a passion of mine for many years. Because of that, I understand the essential responsibilities that every teammate has on and off the court to benefit the team on the whole. I work hard to make sure that every person on my team is in the right frame of mind to play at their best, and if not, I do my best to lift them up and make the team complete again.
Personally, I would be a great addition to a collegiate roster because I work hard towards bettering myself and my teammates at practice on and off the court. I believe that volleyball is essentially a social sport, so the efforts you make as a team off the court are just as important as those you make on it. Athletically, I train frequently at the gym towards becoming a better and more explosive athlete on the whole. I try to make myself as coachable as possible by listening to and applying the tips that my coaches and mentors give me for the goal of bettering myself by 1% at every practice.
Academically, I believe that it is quintessential to maintain a balance between school work and the sport because neither should take priority over the other. Balancing the two is tough, but being a student athlete in a school with high academic standards is my aspiration.
