My name is Charlie and I'm on my third year of mens volleyball. I always put maximum effort into practice while also still being able to have some fun. I have good court vision, I am a tactical and aggressive player and I consider myself to be a utility in the sense of being able to play in positions out of my comfort zone. I am easily coachable and enjoy feedback as it helps me improve. I also regularly work out and maintain a healthy diet to be at peak performance. During the summers, I play beach and grass volleyball for fun and even qualified for nationals during my first year. I enjoy volleyball because I like being part of a team and helping my teammates grow together. An obstacle I've had to work around is not having a school team, however, I try to stay in practice and get as many touches throughout the year as possible. I am motivated by my friends and teammates who are also always improving and I strive to keep up with them as we grow together. My future goals for playing volleyball include playing college volleyball at any level as well as doing well in school and graduating college. I do not currently have any preferences on my college location or school type. In school, I maintain above a 3.0gpa and put in extra effort in class as well as on the court.
