I will be an incoming senior at Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK High School, playing the outside hitter position; standing 6’3” tall with a 34-inch approach vertical and a 30-inch block jump. Playing volleyball since my middle school days, along with competing club for the past four years, ignited my passion and enthusiasm for the sport of volleyball. My high school varsity team historically has a strong roster, so I had to work hard to earn a starting spot as an outside hitter. During my junior year, I helped lead my team to the Conference Championship and runner-ups in the County Finals. As a junior, I received All-County and Newsday’s All-Long Island second team as a junior.
I envision my college experiences to be a personal growth period that will challenge me academically, while competing on the collegiate level as a motivated athlete. My goal is to explore a finance major that will position me well for graduate business school. On the court, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on your team. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with the utmost integrity and respect on and off the field. My volleyball experience has made me fully aware that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
