Volleyball has always been something I looked forward to do as soon as I could. My first year I was able to begin Modifed Volleyball was during Covid-19. I did everything in my power to get better by myself, passing to the wall, my self, and forcing my siblings. I finally got to step on the court in 2022 and I never wanted to leave. I try to better myself everyday. It is the only sport that I physically can’t get mad about. I’m very hard on myself but when it comes to volleyball i’m just so happy to be there, I have the shortest memory of mistakes unlike other sports I play. If I continue to play this sport and build more bonds throughout college it would be such an honor and inspire so many people from my small town and show the indigenous people of my town that we can do anything!
