If you are looking at my profile, I'd like to introduce myself and tell you a little more about me. I'm currently a junior at Niagara Wheatfield high school and co-captain of my varsity mens volleyball team. I've been playing volleyball since 6th grade, and last season my years of effort paid off when I was the only sophomore invited to join my varsity team, and was asked to start in Libero position for the entire season. In club volleyball I started in Libero my first season, but moved to starting outside hitter with a new team in my second season. I currently lead my varsity team in hits, kills and passes this year as starting outside hitter. I work out regularly, and focus on vertical & strength training. You are welcome to have a conversation with my coach. He will tell you I'm focused, high energy, versatile and do everything I'm asked to do to the best of my ability.
I'm interested in playing men's volleyball at the college level, but only if the school I'm attending also provides the opportunity to explore the academic areas I have interest in. Although I haven't narrowed down my focus yet, my areas of interest include: Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning; Environmental Conservation & Sciences; Sports Management or Coaching; Adolescent Education- Physical Education. You may think these are very diverse areas of interest, but the common denominator to me is taking something I'm already good at and expanding upon it to pursue a career that will always be enjoyable and rewarding, even on the toughest days.
