Joseph Chambers '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Joseph Chambers, I live in West Hempstead NY and I attend West Hempstead High School. Thank you for visiting my page! I started playing volleyball in the 7th grade and have been ever since. In 10th grade I was asked to play for my schools varsity team. That year I started as the secondary Middle Hitter. As a young player, I helped bring positivity and support to my team. We ended that year as Conference Champs and semi-finalist in the Nassau county B playoffs. In 11th grade I started as the main middle and even though I wasn't a captain, I had a captains mentality. I was the main voice on the court during games and during practices. In that season I led my team in kills and blocks and helped us become conference champions, I also earned my first individual award of All-County. Going into college I want to further my volleyball skills as well as my academics. If given the chance, I wholeheartedly believe that I can be the player that can make an impact on your team.
