Ever since I picked up a volleyball for the first time in fifth grade, I have been in love with the sport. My goals have always been and will continue to be, to be as good at the sport as I possibly can. On top of training with my competitive team three times a week, I am doing physical training twice a week and individual volleyball training once a week. My primary post-secondary goal is to play on a varsity college team. I would make a good candidate for any team because of both the positive energy and effort I can give to a team. My current coach has mentioned to me constantly throughout the year how loud I am off and on the court, sometimes celebrating points too early but ultimately being a huge boost to team morale. Additionally, although the team may only demand 6-7 hours of my time per week, I still spend an additional 6-9 hours a week for individual improvement. When I commit to something as significant as a team, I never do the bare minimum because I know that I am always capable of more. I am serious about volleyball and will do everything in my power to be the best.
