Riley Kodidek Hig...Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball in the 9th grade and have grown to develop a deep passion for it ever since. I have 2 years of varsity experience and 2 years of club experience as the starting setter. I have been told by my coaches that I have a great setting mindset, and read blocks and defenses very well. The 2021 season was a standout for me where I delivered 693 assists and 44 aces to help lead my team to a PIAA District 1 Championship and 5th place in the state; all while earning First Team All-District Honors. I enjoy playing local tournaments with East Coast Volleyball in the summer season consisting of Double, Triples and Quads to develop skills outside of club and school.
I’m looking for a college home where I can be a great teammate, leader, and continue to develop as as student-athlete.
