Even though I had a late start to playing volleyball in the 10th grade when I took my first step onto the court I loved the sport from that moment, since then I have been working hard to get better and understand the game more with a wish to play at the college level. And having that dream has pushed me to where I am today still working hard and hoping that I can get this opportunity which could change my life.
Some things about me in volleyball. I am versatile when it comes to playing anywhere on the court, I am a switch hitter and I can swing with both hands. I have a powerful topspin serve and float serve. I also like to bring teammates up and encourage them when they aren't feeling themselves no matter the situation I always have a positive mindset. I am also a fast learner and love practicing when I want to learn something I really put my heart and soul into it and take lots of time to learn said skill. I am also very coachable I like taking advice from coaches and getting feedback I feel that it is important to me getting better.
In school I take pride in my work always trying the achieve a good grade so I can maintain a good GPA and with that comes studying which I also do a lot off. I also volunteer with younger kids at my school from time to time setting up events and making school more fun for them.
I would love to attend a college where I can keep improving on the court and in the classroom. I am open to many options and would love to find the college that is perfect for me and hope to become one of your players and be a good role model to all my new friends and family.
