My volleyball journey started in my junior year when I switched to a charter school, and it quickly became a passion. I joined the Houston Challengers, a competitive Indian team, which has allowed me to travel across states and countries to compete. This experience improved my court skills and built my resilience and adaptability. While I haven't played club volleyball for long due to financial constraints, my dedication and love for the sport make up for it. I train multiple times a day and always approach practice with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. I adapt quickly and enjoy environments where I can pick up new techniques and strategies. In terms of character, I take pride in my work ethic, sportsmanship, and team spirit. I believe being a good teammate is just as important as individual skills, and I strive to create a positive atmosphere both on and off the court. I also work hard to maintain a good GPA while balancing volleyball and my dual-credit classes. What sets me apart from other recruits is my unique view as someone who started the sport later, motivated by a true passion rather than pressure to succeed. I bring a fresh perspective, a strong desire to improve, and the maturity from overcoming challenges. As I look forward to collegiate volleyball, my goal is to contribute to your team's success while continuing to grow as an athlete. I'm excited about the chance to join your program and believe my passion, character, and work ethic would make me a valuable addition to your team.
