Volleyball is my favorite sport, and I am a dedicated player. My volleyball goal is to play Libero at the highest collegiate level possible. While I pride myself in my individual achievements, I am most proud of my high school team winning the 2017 Class 5 Virginia State Championship, the most competitive Class in the State. The Championship Match TV color commentator said, "Deep Run's Libero (me) is doing a tremendous job on defense." In Virginia, volleyball is a fall sport.
In my lifetime I have played competitively in soccer, swimming, and high level travel baseball. I feel these other sports have helped me to improve my athletic skill level. I just finished my fourth year Richmond Volleyball Club. Each year we have qualified for the Boys Junior National Championship - Open Division.
I love the game of volleyball and play every chance I get, including open gyms, in adult leagues, and teaching younger players how to play. I am easily coachable and practice hard to become the best possible player that I can be.
I work hard in school to maintain above a 3.3 GPA and will work just as hard in college. I am looking forward selecting classes from a much broader array of college classes than what I am presently offered in high school.
I hope you can assist me to find a college that will challenge me academically and athletically. During my college years I intend to become a better person and player. I intend to make my parents, family, church, and community proud.
