Graham Luethe '22 Recruiting Profile

Around 4 years ago, after playing club soccer for many years, I decided to try something new. In middle school me and my friends became obsessed with volleyball. We would show up early, and stay late to play volleyball in a circle, and we took ourselves very seriously. Eventually I found a  club about 50 minutes away from my house and decided to go for it. I quickly fell in love with the sport and became close with my teammates. Soon the long drive became a normal part of my week because there was no way I would give up the team and sport that I had found.

In my four years at SpaceNeedle I started playing as a libero for two years and now, an outside/opposite. I have improved every year and now have solidified myself as a starting player and a leader on the court. I would love to continue my volleyball journey in college and continue my growth as a player, leader and a teammate. College has always been the next step for me, especially after seeing my sister complete the college process, I am currently planning on studying environmental science/studies, or political science.
