Javier Cruz '23 Recruiting Profile

As a small town kid, mens volleyball was not an option for me, until I decided to create my own team my junior year of high school. I was committed and determined to become better and better everyday. Our first year did not go as well as we had hoped, but we were not discouraged as we were just starting out. My senior year, we won multiple tournament, and even came back home with not only a district championship but a state championship. I am now a college freshman, who decide to take this year to better my game, and I am ready to work hard for any team at any level. I want to compete and I want to win, and i will do everything in my power as a teammate, as a player, and as an athlete to reach these goals.
