Avery Pohlman - 2...Personal Statement
I've had a volleyball in my hand since 1st grade. I've grown up in a volleyball family as both of my parents played volleyball in college and my sister played club and varsity volleyball in high school. Watching my sister play influenced me to continue playing the sport. I have learned that I have a passion for playing volleyball, and have a very good skill set. I work hard in practice and enjoy seeing that hard work pay off during matches. I would love to continue playing volleyball competitively in college. Academically, I will challenge myself to study hard and stay organized in order to obtain a good health/science degree.
