Why play waterpolo in college? I enjoy the competition, I enjoy the camaraderie between me and my teammates and I enjoy the challenges that the toughest sport on earth throws at you. I have had fat lips, bloody noses, black eyes, and bruises galore but I have smiled and continued to play. I like to work hard inside the pool and out. My dad always says “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” (I know he didn’t come up with that on his own), but I believe it. Waterpolo has helped me maintain structure and strength in my high school years and I know it will do the same for me in college. I show up to every practice, I don’t complain, I give 110%, and keep a level head. I can’t wait for what’s next. Bring it!
