I would like to provide you with specific information about my athletic, academic, and personal background. I started playing water polo when I was 10 years old and have played for NorCal Aquatics at the 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U levels. Over the summer, I was the starting goalie for the 18U ‘A’ team, which competed at the Junior Olympics in Irvine, California, and several other tournaments. I am just beginning my senior season as the starting goalie for Los Altos High School, which will be my third year as the starting goalie for the Varsity team. In terms of college, I am focusing on schools that offer competitive water polo opportunities, as well as meet my primary academic interest. I plan to study Marine Biology in college with a goal of eventually receiving my PhD in Marine Biology. I have a life-long fascination with Gray Whales and plan to conduct academic research on the anatomy, behavior, diet and migration patterns of Western North Pacific Gray Whales. In addition to my academic and water polo interests, I enjoy snowboarding, surfing, traveling with my family, and model building.
