Andrew Newberg '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew. I've played water polo on varsity as a freshmen and sophomore. Both years, I received the coaches award for being the most coach able and hardest working player. I participated in club water polo prior to the COVID-19 lock down. My overall GPA is a 3.9, and I am enrolled in multiple AP courses. The dedication to my academics and athletics earned me the USA Water Polo All American Award.  What sets me apart from others, is my work ethic, dedication, and perseverance. In and out of the pool, I am a team player and believe in completing tasks in the best interests of the team, instead of for my own personal gain. In college I hope to pursue a degree in animal science or agriculture.  During my high school career, I have successfully juggled AP courses, high level athletics, a part time job, and FFA. I would be grateful to participate in the sport I love while obtaining the education and experience to further my career goals.
