My name is Dina Mercier, and I'm both an outside hitter and middle blocker in the graduating class of 2021. I want to persevere my love for volleyball by continuing to play in college, as well as succeeding academically. I'm always willing to give it my all to achieve my dreams and what I'm passionate about, so as a student athlete playing in college I could ensure responsibility, dedication, hard work, and positivity. I have a lot of experience in different athletic fields which allows me to be more flexible on a team.
I currently play on Vision 17-2s for club and at Ann Sobrato High School for school.
I have just recently completed the first semester of my Junior year with a 4.6, and got a 1320 on my recent SAT. I plan to improve my score, and I'm ready to balance that with my year-round commitment to volleyball, as I'm persistent with what I want to achieve but always maintain a positive mindset. I'd love to focus on obtaining an engineering or business degree while competing at a collegiate level in volleyball, and I'm ready to work to do what it takes.
