Hi, My name is Nico Buono. I'm currently a junior at Palm Desert High School and play for the varsity water polo team. I've committed my life to water polo, practicing and working out everyday. I have been playing for around 4 years now and love the sport. What I love most about water polo is being a part of a team. I love that the sport is played best when everyone works together. I love creating an unbreakable bond with my teammates. I have been on varsity all 3 years of high school so far. I was awarded all league first team and all CIF second team for division 3 in the 2021 season. I plan on going to college to major in sports medicine and kinesiology. I've always loved learning about the body and how it moves and functions. I plan to pursue physical therapy or become a trainer for a professional sports team.
