During my 6th grade year I was an average baseball player. I had not accomplished anything great up to that point and decided that I should move on to a new sport. My mom used to be a swimmer so she suggested I play water polo. At the time, I had disagreed with her decision and I knew that a new sport with a different crowd would be a hard adjustment. Over the past 4 years I have learned how to play with a whole new set of players and have been able to accomplish my goals, such as losing weight, gaining a more competitive mindset and building my confidence. I have been the captain of my club for 3 years as well as playing on my high school varsity team throughout my freshman and sophomore years. I'm considered a utility player because of my experience with all positions, including my best position as point guard.
