David Shalman '24 Recruiting Profile

Water polo has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. The adrenaline rush of competing in the pool, the strategic thinking required to outmaneuver opponents, and the teamwork necessary to succeed all make it an incredibly rewarding sport. I have played water polo at many levels and have sharpened my skills as a 2-meter defender, a set player, and a utility player where I excel at creating opportunities for my teammates and defending our goal. As much as I love water polo, I am also excited about pursuing a career in law. I believe that studying law will allow me to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by fighting for justice and fairness. Both require strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. I am confident that I can contribute to a college water polo team.My passion for the sport, paired with my experience and skills, make me a valuable addition to any team. I am committed to working hard both in and out of the pool to improve my abilities and help my team succeed.
