I have been a competitive swimmer for 10 plus years now and have enjoyed every aspect of just moving and competing in the water. I am an explosive swimmer going 21 in my 50 free and 49 in my 100; I have been also conditioned through my intense swimming to tread water for hours on end. Although my club water polo experience is limited I have a good feel for the sport as I m naturally athletic in and out of the water with a good sense of speed and coordination. I am also a certified lifeguard so I know how to shift my position in the water smartly. My love for handball also gives me the ability to palm, control, pass, and score a ball with ease. I plan to attend more water clinics before college to brighten my experience in the sport. I am interested in either the left or right-wing position as it requires the most amount of swimming and a fast swimmer to do so. I am also a very academic student; I currently have a 4.0 GPA unweighted and I am in many honors and AP classes. I am different than the average water polo recruit due to my limited game time in the sport, however, I possess many of the important fundamentals of water polo. Feel free to check out my attached videos of me swimming and of my passing and throwing skills.
