Kadriye Anderson '22 Recruiting Profile

I come from an amazing, very ball oriented family so the idea of playing ball at the college level is beyond my wildest dreams.  I can't think of a time where I haven't felt a deep passion for the game of softball. I grew up watching by dad play baseball and was absolutely consumed with amazement from the very start. I am a very coachable, hardworking player who is always eager to learn and improve on and off the field. When making a mistake I do my best to shake it off, learn from it, keep a smile, stay positive and make sure it doesn't happen again. I take pride in each team I am honoured enough to play with and the way I carry myself.  I love cheering on my teammates and encouraging people to try their best, while setting good example and being a team leader. As a student I strive to do well and carry the same attitude and eagerness towards my academics.
