Chiara Marquez '23 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches viewing my profile, 

I am a high school Freshman looking to be noticed and be recruited as a catcher or outfielder.  I am a Mexican-American two sport athlete that is very focused on my post high school life.  I am fluent in Spanish. My grades are very good and I work very hard to maintain my GPA and position in my class. 

I have a will to learn and always be better than I was before.  I will do whatever it takes to be at the level I need to be or better. Coaches will say I am very determined and very driven. I am a very happy person and tend to make others happy as well. I am a two sport athlete. I play basketball, point guard, and as a freshman I started on Varsity 18 times averaging several points a game. 

My 2020 softball season was cut short due to COVID-19. We finished the season 4-0 with a start in every game as the catcher.  My batting average was .333 with a .500 on base percentage.
