Hello! My name is Reagan Grossi and I would love to introduce myself! I am 17 years old and is going to be a senior at Empire High School. I live in the outskirts of Tucson in a small town known as Vail, Arizona. I grew up here and I wouldn't want it any other way. I started to play the wonderful sport of softball at 8 years old and has loved it ever since! I respect this game with all my heart and has learned so many life lessons from it.
During my time at Empire HS I have been on varsity since freshman year and became a starter my Junior year. I have worked extremely hard to earn my position on varsity & I am so blessed to be given the spot! My primary position is catcher and my secondary position is outfield. When needed, I will play the corners as well.
I am very versatile and coachable. I learn new mechanics quickly and I also adapt to new things fairly quickly! I also have a very humorous and positive attitude when I am on and off the field. I admit I do get upset at myself when I mess up (like every average athlete), but I have learned that mistakes I have made in the past have made me a better player that I am today.
I put my team before myself always, softball is not a individual sport. This is a team sport and it's not only about me, so I put my team above myself. I am also very reliable on what I need to do on the field and off the field. I have taken so far 3 honors classes (Anatomy Honors, Algebra 2 Honors & Geometry Honors), and I have learned a lot about time management and how to manage both sports and academics!
Thank you for taking the time to read my Profile!
