Hello, my name is Sadie Smith. I am a Junior at Little Rock Christian Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas. I play middle infield and 3rd, but can play about any position besides pitcher. I give my best effort In whatever position my coach asks me to play. There are times I play 4 different positions in a game.
I was on the same travel team for 6.5 years. Since then, I have found a great team and a coach that shows us tough love . I work at home several times a week besides our practice and hitting lessons. I adjust to change well and am a very driven, accountable person on and off the field.
First and foremost, I plan to make the grades in high school and help to lead my high school team to successful seasons. I will be focusing on grades good enough to get some academic scholarships and skills to gain an athletic scholarship. I hope to get accepted to the college I feel most comfortable with. I pray this includes a chance to fulfill my dream of playing softball at the collegiate level.

- To Whom this is reaching, My name is Sydney Parr, former softball player for the University of Arkansas. I have been working with Sadie Smith for a year now and what I am writing doesn’t even skim the surface of who she is. Sadie is not only an incredible athlete but she is an amazing person. Her work ethic is top notch, she is driven, passionate, a go getter, coachable, eager to continuously elevate her game and grow, she is gritty, mentally tough, and hard to beat. She is very athletic, solid skill set both offensively and defensively, and is an athlete a coach never has to worry about, as she goes above and beyond what is asked of her. As a person there are a lot of good things I could say, but just a few is she is extremely selfless, caring, loving, loyal, honest, she carries herself in a respectable manner, and is just an outstanding young woman. She makes the right choices off of the field and always sets the example for those around her. Athletically she has all of the pieces. She is versatile on the field, has a strong arm, is consistent offensively and swings with power, she is a good teammate, a leader, and has a lot of softball smarts.
