My earliest recollection of me playing softball was when I was in grade 3. I have always been an active kid. I played many sports growing up including, basketball, volleyball, and competitive diving. But softball was always my favourite. It drove me to always strive to do better and not just settle for good. last year I had an ACL injury that really set me back for everything. I had a lot of trouble getting back to my sports and getting back to where I was before. I missed a lot of good opportunities that would have been great for improving my skill level. I kept telling myself that I would come back stronger than before. By telling my self that it drove me to meet my goal. Through that year i learned how much I appereciated softball and how much I wanted to do it post secondary. My injury changed the way I look at things and made me realize that I am so blessed. During the year I was out I worked on my work ethic and mental performance . Post secondary achedemic goals are to graduate with some sort of degree.
