Lauren Lugtigheid '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Lauren Lugtigheid and I am from Langley, British Columbia, Canada.  I attend Langley Christian School. My love for softball started at the age of 4 and is still continuing to grow.  I am a center fielder and a left handed slapper for Fraser Valley Fusion 2006 Gold team. I am now onto my sixth year with this team and can't wait for what the next season will bring. My team won gold at the BC provincials in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022. This past season my team attended U17A Nationals in Montreal and finished with a silver medal. In Montreal, I was also announced "Top Batter"  and received an award out of over 300 athletes.  I am a hard-working student and  athlete and I am always willing to try and learn new things. I always put in 100% on and off the field and I enjoy building great relationships with my teammates and coaches. My goals are to play high-level post-secondary softball and continue to play the sport I love.
