I have grown up in a family where fast pitch has been a part of our lives for generations. I have played softball since I was five years old and my passion continues to grow with my ongoing career. I am extremely competitive and will stop at nothing to ensure I am helping my team in every way possible to win.
I am a player with the strength of a corner infielder and the speed of an outfielder. I credit my success to my flexibility and willingness to help the team in whatever way necessary at the time. I have played on the same team for the last 6 seasons, and we have achieved great success over the years. Some of our major accomplishments have included:
Three time Gold Medal British Columbia Provincial Championships – 2014, 2016, 2018 Two time Gold Medal Winners Canadian National Championships – 2016, 2018 Silver Medal Winners, Plate Division, Canadian National Championships – 2015 Bronze Medal Winners, Canadian National Championships – 2017
My personal journey was recognized with my greatest success to date, and I was awarded the Canadian Fastpitch All-Star award for First Base, at the 2018 Canadian National Championships.
While I am very proud of the achievements and successes of my team and my own personal accomplishments, I am a coachable player who recognizes that there is always room for improvement. I aid the team in not only a physical aspects of the game but also the mental side. I know that the best teams are the ones who are a family and always pick each other up. I was also asked to work with our 2004 team as a Junior Coach in the 18/19 season, and have grown my leadership skills immensely, while learning to motivate and inspire a team, even through difficult times.
