I started playing recreational softball in the 3rd grade. Then at the age of 10 I started to play competitively. Where I live softball is not a very popular sport. Playing competitively outside of my small town really helped me grow a lot as a player, and learn so much more about the game. Playing softball has taught me about team work, time management, and so much more. I work hard and I am determined to continue defining and strengthening my skills. along with playing first base I am also a strong hitter. I usually bat 4th or 5th in the batting line up as a left handed hitter.
Outside of softball I work very hard in my academics, maintaining a 4.0 average GPA. I also am involved with many extracurricular activities other than softball. I also work part time when I’m not playing softball. In the future I want to major in forensic science and Criminal Justice. My goal is to continue to play softball at a collegiate level, and better myself as a student athlete.
