My name is Tayler Murphy, I am a Freshman at Benicia High School. I started playing softball when I was four years old, and every year my love for the game grows bigger . I have always wanted to go to college and I am hoping my softball experience will help me get there. I know I would like to go into a profession that is sport related.
I have had many coaches in my life that have shaped me into the hard-working player I am today. They are role models to me and I am grateful to them everyday. I am dedicated to the game and I know I can go beyond high school and into college. Softball has always intrigued me. I have played many positions but I am focusing on a catcher career.
I am a pretty well-rounded girl. I love to get my nails done but I also love to play in the dirt. I am a hard-working and dedicated student/athlete. When I have a goal, I make sure I see it through to the very end. In high school one of my electives is AVID, Advanced Via Individual Determination. AVID teaches me effective note-taking strategies, helps me improve my writing ability, and prepares me to take the SAT's and ACT's.
My ideal coach will push me to my limit and challenge me to become the best softball player. I would like a coach that can push me hard but also can celebrate my achievements with me. I believe structure and consistency are key to a successful team. I would like to play for a coach that will make a difference in my life.
Thanks for taking your time to learn more about me and contributing to my bright future.
