Hi Coaches, my name is Angelina (Nina) Granados. My passion for softball started at the age of 6 and I have not stopped playing the sport since. I have and always dedicate my time to perfecting my craft to get at least 1% better every day. Currently, I am one of the starting infielders, but also enjoy the outfield for BSC Bengals 18G Ayala. Offensively, I feel I have moved into a power hitter role and move runners when needed. I attend Heritage High School in Brentwood, California. I am in the raduating class of 2023. I currently hold a GPA of 3.5. I am looking for a school that challenges me athletically and academically, while helping me earn a major in veterinarian/animal sciences.
Through my years of playing softball, I have learned to handle failure and use it in order to improve. Along with my competitive drive, I consistently demonstrate 100% effort and great attitude, making me a great team player. I am always looking to make progress, so I dedicate much of my time to personal training in hitting and fielding. My natural athletic ability allows me to master new skills and make adjustments, making me very coachable.
Outside of softball, one of my favorite things to do is to watch over and/or take care of animals. This has influenced my choice of major because I have such a soft spot for any animal I can help. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always found happiness in being around and caring for animals.
