Alexandra (Allie) Benson '18 Recruiting Profile

    Academically, I am interested in  pursuing criminology or psychology.  I find both topics so intriguing and they would both be beneficial in the field of criminal justice.

    Some of my strengths as a pitcher are that I am a team player and have a confident presence on the mound. I am always looking for ways to pick up my teammates on and off the field and I love to win. Most recently, my fastball speed was clocked in the low 60’s and with my strength training I am hoping to improve that number. Spinning the ball and hitting my spots is what helps me be successful. My passion for softball comes from my desire to compete; it is what drives me to get better every day. I have dedicated a lot of time and energy to becoming an exceptional player and leader.
