Jessica Pyrah '22 Recruiting Profile

        Hi I’m Jessica Pyrah I am 16 years old and I currently play on tEAMSMiTH 18u - Ken. An accomplishment I recently made was being able to be put onto my teams 18u roster at the age 15. Growing up I didn't ever see myself playing softball until I went to one of my friends softball game. Watching her play and seeing how much fun she had I decided I wanted to try it out.  I felt a little left out when I started because I was just starting to learn a new sport at age 10 when everyone else started playing when they were five or six. Trying to catch up with all the other girls was super difficult but payed off super well, I caught up with most of the girls and learned the game quick. 

        I am a very coachable athlete who loves to be taught new things whether it's in the classroom, on the field, or anywhere else. I take in as much advice that I am given to perform well. I love to talk to others and I am known for getting along with others super well. I am the best teammate that I can be, I always do my best to pick up my team/teammates if they're feeling down.
