Coaches and Recruiters:
My name is Isabella (Bella) Merrihew. I am a sophomore at Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, CA and I graduate in 2020.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a very organized and dedicated student, and I currently have a 3.83 GPA and take a few honors classes. I really enjoy the speed of the game of softball, as well as the teamwork needed to be successful and win at the highest levels. I also enjoy the moments where you have the ability to help the team win, by getting a hit or making a play when the team needs it the most.
For summer of 2013, I played catcher for California Breeze 10U at the 2013 ASA Nationals in Kentucky. I’ve also played in 2014 ASA Nationals in Nevada and the 2015 PGF Nationals in Southern California, each time as a member of the California Breeze and also playing catcher.
For the 14U season, I played for Universal Fastpitch-Garcia team in the catcher and 3rd base positions. Our team was recently ranked 12th in the nation by Flosoftball and we competed at several PGF events.
I am now playing for 16U California Fastpitch in both the 3rd base and catching positions.
I am extremely interested in playing college softball and look forward to having a great college softball career.
Sincerely,
Bella Merrihew
