Delaney Mondino '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Delaney Mondino and I am a junior at Fountain Valley High School in Fountain Valley, CA. I've played softball for 11 years, with 7 of them being in travel ball. I switched from being a right handed hitter to a lefty slapper about 2 1/2 years ago because I am speedy on the bases! It's a lot of work but I am committed to the process and really enjoy learning all the different types of slaps. It has been very rewarding so far! I've played on my high school's varsity softball team the last 2 years. Our team made it to the 4th round of CIF this year! I enjoy surfing and I competed on my high school's surf team my freshman and sophomore years! I also like wake-boarding and snowboarding. My plan after high school is to play softball in college while continuing to pursue my academic goals. I am blessed to have parents who always encourage me, and a great network of coaches who guide and support me along this journey.
