Hi, my name is Nylah Mirshafiei! I am 16 years old and a senior at Fountain Valley High School. I've played every position on the field and by far being a keeper is my favorite. Being the last line of defense on the field is always the most fun and with the most pressure, you gain the ability to read plays and focus in order to be successful. I train everyday in both the gym and on the field to perfect my game and improve my skills to block any ball. I am a very technical and responsible keeper both on and off the field. On the field I am very vocal and I keep all my back line accountable as well as giving them directions. Off the field I take my education very seriously in order to maintain a high GPA.
My education is a very important to me and I love to continuously challenge myself, in both academics and sports. I am 100% confident in my major, which is Animal Science. While I am an excellent student, my friends and family are very important to me as they have molded me into the person I am. Some clubs that I participate in are Model United Nations and Science Olympiad. I also plan to coach a AYSO team this fall to coach the kids in my community.
I plan to consider colleges that are a good match for me academically. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
