My name is Natalie Bains and I am from Huntington Beach, CA. I attend Huntington Beach High School and I am graduating in the class of 2023. I play centerfield and live to chase down big hits and to throw out runners at home. When I’m not playing centerfield, I can be found at 3rd base. When teams are playing short ball, my speed handles bunts and hits down the line. I am the lead off hitter for my team because I’m always making something happen with the bat. Once on the base, I can’t wait to slide into 2nd. When the game is done, I’m usually the most dirty player on the team.
I have a 3.82 grade point average and attend Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts at Huntington Beach High School in the Musical Theater department. Combining softball and performing arts has made me a well rounded person with time management skills and dedication to my passions. I am a member of HBHS APA Student Council and a Girl Scout Senior working on my Gold Award.
My goals are to continue my passion for playing softball in college. I am looking forward to the college experience like dorm life, learning different things while taking my general education classes and meeting new people.
I am a hard worker, always considerate of teammates and coaches and will most likely pick a show tune as a walk up song unless it really bugs my teammates…
