Jayla Cadena '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Jayla Cadena and I’m a 2022 graduate. I play at St. Anthony high school along with So Cal Athletics National team.  I am a utility player and a pitcher who focuses on spin and location. I was named as a top 50 pitcher in LA County and I also made first team.  I’m a consistent hitter with power.

I aspire to further my education while playing the sport I love.  I welcome the opportunity to play for a team in which I can contribute in anyway that  supports and benefits the team I am playing for.

Softball is a sport that has taught me many important life lessons including teamwork, leadership, and dedication. These lessons have pushed me to spend evenings and several weeks of my high school summers volunteering at my local recreational softball leagues. It’s  rewarding to work with girls who can relate to me, as I watch them develop and grow.
