My name is Mia Gonzales. I started playing t-ball when I was 5 and ever since I have loved the game. As a pitcher I work hard everyday to become better and strive to succeed in greatness. The adrenaline you get while being on the field, the pressure and excitement of the game, and the awesome feeling when you win a championship are what makes me love the game. The bond that is made with my softball family is irreplaceable. During my 4 years of high school I would like to accomplish many things like getting a 4.0 or higher, becoming a member of the leadership club/the debate team, getting more involved with my community, and playing softball for my school. If I was to go play for a college softball team, I would have high expectations for my teammates and for myself. For example if one of my teammates missed a routine play I would tell them to shake it off and get the next one. I would always encourage my teammates and myself to always have confidence in ourselves, help us strive to be the best we can be , and always have a good attitude on and off the field.
