Keira Niestas '20 Recruiting Profile

I attend Mission Vista High School in Oceanside, CA. I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA. I have had the honor of receiving the Award of Academic Excellence for maintaining a 4.0 or higher since my freshman and sophomore year. My ultimate goal is to attend a university that I have the opportunity to play the sport I love, allow me to compete at the highest level while providing me with a quality education. I play for Lakewood Firecrackers Hagberg 16U, based out of Lakewood, CA.

I am a right-handed pitcher, I currently throw with confidence fastball, change up, curve, backdoor curve, screw, backdoor screw, drop ball and rise ball. I have had the honor of working with Jason Iuli with Powerhouse Mechanics as my pitching coach for the past several years. I truly believe in his pitching techniques and philosophy. My secondary position is outfield.
