Softball for me isn’t just a game, it is my way of life. It is how I meet people and make friends. Softball has taught me how to work for what I want, and how to persevere. Softball has made me who I am today and keeps showing me who I want to be and where I want to go.
The way I impact my teams isn’t done in just one big way. Instead, I impact my teams in many different little ways. My impact is made through my versatility, my speed, my ability to move runners, and my powerful swing. I am a utility player, outfielder, infielder, you name it. I’m a quick decision maker, and I know my speed, making me a fast and smart baserunner. I can bunt extremely well sneaky bunt, squeeze, push, or sacrifice. If needed, I can also get in a good hit, reading the situation and hitting behind the runners, or I can hit a deep ball to the outfield to bring in runs. My strengths as a person are various and reflect my work ethic. Coaches have described me as extremely coachable, focused, and especially hardworking. My parents commend my determination, diligence, and perseverance. In addition to my hardworking personality, my teammates would describe me as a fun and friendly person who brings the team together.
