Hello! My name is Layla Mendoza. I am a 2021 graduate at Salinas High School. What makes me a desirable candidate is the fact that I am coachable and any feedback I am given will be valued and taken seriously.  I enjoy spending time putting in extra work to better myself.  In addition to the practices I participate in, I also receive individual instruction every week. I am fully trusting in my teammates and always look forward to the next play and opportunity.  I have played in many positions throughout the years and I am willing to learn/play any position I am needed in. In school, I maintain a 4.0 and above and I am in honors classes.  I value a good education to help me reach my goals in the future.
