My goal for college is to pursue both my softball aspirations and pre-law education. My ultimate career goal is to become a sports agent. I plan to use my college softball experience to serve and represent other athletes in the future.
I believe I am an asset to my teams because I am a utility player and can play almost any position. However, my strongest positions are third base, shortstop, and outfield. My coordination, speed, throwing velocity and game awareness allows me great versatility. I can replace a player on a moment's notice. I am also known to be a team leader because I not only work hard to earn the respect of my fellow teammates, but I also have enthusiasm and relate well with my teammates. Finally, I am an asset to my teams because I am coachable. I thrive on learning the game and am always open to feedback and ways to make me a better player. There is always room for improvement.
What makes me different from my peers is my confidence which comes from years of practice, strength training, talking with my coaches and studying the game. I work well under pressure. I seem to make my best plays during these moments. I am also grounded and always show respect for my teammates and coaches. What makes me different in my academics is that I have maintained above a 4.0 GPA during high school despite my intense softball schedule and outside activities. I have also maintained close relationships with all of my teachers whom I will always respect and admire.
My drive is unmatched and I cannot wait to showcase my softball and academic abilities in college.
