Jenny Allen '21 Recruiting Profile

I consider softball to be one of the biggest influences in my life and believe that it has shaped me to be the person I am today. It has taught me perseverance as well as dedication. It has also taught me the value of teamwork. I am looking for a college that will support me academically as well as on the field. Either Health and Exercise Science or Criminology really interest me and I would like to make that a focus for choosing my major. The idea of helping others and being hands on has always been a must for me so that is why I take interest in these two areas.  I am willing to travel further distances for college. I would also prefer to play for a school where my skills can be utilized early in my college career versus a popular school where it may take a couple of years to get on the field. Good grades in high school are very important to me because it reflects who you are as a person and what you value. I aim to be in National Honor Society and I am a part of my high school’s Athletic Council, Sources of Strength team,  as well as the Young Life program. I believe this will lay the foundation for my success in college and my ultimate goal of pursuing my career.
