Mayola Orrantia '22 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I began to play softball I would continue to push myself to better myself from twelve and under up to my senior season. As well as with my academics. I would make a good candidate for the team because I strive to better myself and others around me. I do this by picking myself up and others when a mistake has occurred whether it's at school, on the field, or anywhere else. I always put others before myself. I am different in my own way, no matter what happens out of the field I never bring it onto the field, once I walk through the gates I leave it all behind and focus on softball. Overall I am a hard-working student-athlete. I have to be a student before I can be an athlete and that is one of the most important things to get through when being in sports. My goal for life is to become the best person I can be and continue to learn new things every day.
